Corocord - Rope Net Specialists
 Corocord are the world experts and founder in the making of SpaceNets and complex rope structures. Corocord designed it's first spacenet in 1970 and continues to develop and improve their product range by creating new products and implimenting new techniques.
Located in Berlin, Corocord was founded by Conrad Roland. The special ropes of “Herkules” type are built up
of six galvanized steel wire strands, in which
each strand is tightly wrapped with red
polyamide yarn. Edge ropes are reinforced
with a steel wire core. Corocord ropes are
tempered, which means that the polyamide “wrapping” is inductively
melted on to each strand individually, so that after the initial friction has
removed the surface fibres, a harder polyamide coating remains to
protect each strand. The tempered Corocord - ropes are used exclusively
for SpaceNets produced directly by Corocord and unmatched by any
other.
